OVERVIEW
The job holder will be responsible for the management of respective showrooms in their area and ensuring sales targets. The goal is to improve the commercial performance of the showrooms in their area, working towards an increased market share by exploiting opportunities, maximize profitability, increase customer satisfaction and ensure continued business growth. A major part of the job is managing, developing and motivating staff to increase sales and improve efficiency
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Achievements Against Set Targets
• Prepare and participate in the preparation of sales budgets
• Space planning in stores according to budget setting
• Conduct forward planning to exploit any opportunities
Inventory Management And Stock Distribution
• Review and analyze stock and sales reports monitoring over- and under stocks , implementing corrective action to be taken
• Review and effectively deal with fast / slow lines, new ranges and end of ranges and implement necessary action
• Pricing of merchandise as per norms and matrix format
• Verification and implementation of price revisions.
• Monthly feedback on all aspects of :
- Sales performance
- Stock positions
- Special events |
